Scali Promotions is proud to present the return of the world-renowned Catalan tenor José Carreras to Australia.
In this tour, the tenor will be joined on stage by a guest soprano, under the baton of Maestro David Giménez and accompanied by a 45-piece orchestra.
José Carreras’ professional career spans almost 50 years and he is also known for his performances as one of the Three Tenors.
His wide repertoire includes over 60 operas and more than 600 titles of the most diverse styles, ranging from the baroque to contemporary music. He has sold millions of records across the classical and popular music genres, earning him multiple Gold and Platinum awards.
Diagnosed with leukaemia at the peak of his career, he not only beat the deadly disease but also went on to establish the José Carreras International Leukaemia Foundation to help others battling the illness.
